Long were the nights when my days once revolved around you
Counting my footsteps,
praying the floor won't fall through, again
My mother accused me of losing my mind,
but I swore I was fine
You paint me a blue sky
and go back and turn it to rain
And I lived in your chess game,
but you changed the rules every day
Wondering which version of you I might get on the phone
tonight
Well I stopped picking up, and this song is to let you know why
Dear John,
I see it all now that you're gone
Don't you think I was too young to be messed with?
The girl in the dress,
cried the whole way home.
I should've known
Well maybe it's me and my blind optimism to blame
Maybe it's you and your sick need to give love then take it away
And you'll add my name to your long list of traitors who don't understand
And I'll look back and regret how I ignored when they said "run as fast as you can"
Dear John,
I see it all now that you're gone
Don't you think I was too young to be messed with?
The girl in the dress,
cried the whole way home

Dear John,
I see it all, now it was wrong
Don't you think 19 is too young to be played by your dark twisted games, when I loved you so?
I should've known
You are an expert at sorry,
and keeping lines blurry
Never impressed by me acing your tests
All the girls that you run dry
with tired, lifeless eyes
cause you burned them out
But I took your matches before fire could catch me,
so don't look now:
I'm shining like fireworks over your sad, empty town
Dear John,
I see it all now that you're gone
Don't you think I was too young to be messed with?
The girl in the dress,
cried the whole way home.
I see it all now that you're gone
Don't you think I was too young to be messed with?
The girl in the dress wrote you a song
You should've known
You should've known
Don't you think I was too young?
You should've known
Taylor Swift is back with a brand new album 'Speak Now'. Plus there's a deluxe edition. Haa. I'm going on a T.Swift songs' marathon. =)
I felt something while listening to this song then checked out the lyric. Sad feel, but nice written song. I wonder who is the 'John' written by her. Ponders. Go listen!

5S1 Awesome Class Party
Looks like high school is going to come to the end eventually. Maybe it's not the end for all of us, but it's certain that we will go our separate ways and embark on a new journey. This is the crossroad of our life, another turning point, which we will look back after years and say, 'Ah, look back at that time. We were crazy etc.'
Time flies. There goes another year in planet Earth. Earth is like 4.5 billion years old. We were only here for a billionth fraction of that life-span. Life's short, too short to waste time. Although it's just a short period of time, we build strong bond of friendship.
5S1 had its awesome class party. It was awesome in a sense that the support and devotion everybody gave to make it a blast. We are a team and we will always be a team. It was a nice poolside barbecue party. It was raining intermittently but we still had some problems at first. We started the fire and lit the charcoal up with Henry's cool torch. Nice. I called it, 'The Flamethrower'. The music was rocking the place too as we waited the others.
BBQ was nice as we chatted or barbecued the chicken wings and bacons. Flames and steam warmed up the place and grilled the food. Domino pizza was tasty. We chatted and joked around all the time. I wanted to jump into the pool so badly. Ah. Champagnes were popped open and smiles, or rather shouts everywhere. Friends for life. The atmosphere was joyous and wonderful. Letting our faces warmed up by the grill's heat, we smiled and laughed.
5S1 buddies, you guys are awesome. Thanks for the joined birthday celebration for me and Guan You. I was touched by you guys. Sweet. Haa. The blueberry cake was delicious. Thanks again! I will remember that for life.
Friendship is one of the greatest lessons I learnt in high school. My friends, be brave to chase your dreams.

Clock's tickin'
Buddies of Form 5, it's exactly 23 days to the first day of SPM. Don't panic.
We should start working hard and fight for what we want. Don't give up easily. Don't be lazy too.
Everything comes to an end eventually. For some of us, high school is near its end. Cherish the days left. We will live through it and might as well enjoy the days. SPM isn't that bad. Have fun folks. Don't forget each other.
Clock's tickin'. But hey, who's gonna stop us?

Thoughts
I want scholarships so badly!!!
Okay, I will try my best to ace my SPM first then fight for it. I'm fired up dy. Go go go!
School had been fun these days. Games and chats were the main activities all the time. Most of us seemed to lose some momentum in revision. In fact, I think we should learn something new. At least it won't bore me and send me under Morpheus' spell. I noticed that some of my friends are really diligent and hardworking. They just can't stop studying and reading books. I salute them. I wonder why I can't seem to improve my language much. People can score that high and write that lengthy. I think I should start to give my best dy. No more taking it easy. I'm gonna shine, might as well let it be from now on. I want to outshine everything else and take this world by storm. Well, this is just a thinking.
I had some crazy ideas recently. I'm thinking of writing stories in my blog during my free time. Should I?
Stories will be random and weird, or mysterious and dark. Just a thought. I'm still pondering and thinking plots. This idea is purely for fun and exploring something new. But if someone spots me, I wouldn't mind at all.
Future, I see it. What the future holds? It doesn't really clear to me yet. It can't be predicted that accurately. I'm not Nostradamus or his apprentice capable of making prophecy. I don't want the world to end in 2012. I want that year to be a new beginning, but not the end. Don't worry. God save those who save themselves. Be positive. I'm sure something will happen and turn things around.
Class party possible next week. Birthday is on next week. XD

It's Monday and the start of another week.
Fresh start. I'm feeling better. Thanks for all the support.
I'm thinking of trying something new. Maybe trying something random such as photography or some new sports. There's still time to think and ponder my future. But time flies and slips away. Appreciate time while it lasts.
This second trial is really meaningless. I'm taking it as exercise. If you want to discuss, please try not to be too obvious.
Star Movies is showing tonnes of thrillers this month as it's Halloween soon. Nice.

Dream on
Finally the letter came last Friday. It wasn't the way I dreamed it to be. Merit Award in ASEAN scholarship. Not the full one. But I said to myself, 'It wasn't that bad, at least I made that far'.
People got the forecast results, but I haven't. Still need to wait for Second Trial to over. It's a waste of time. I am tired of exercises. Now, I'm gonna walk my own way. Still not sure which way. I'm hoping for the best and expecting the worst. I wish that I were somehow rich and have a billion k dollars in my hands. How nice would it be. Thanks to my friends who congratulated me and wish me luck. I promise I won't let you all down in the future. I will try my best always!
Dream on, don't let your dreams die.
This is my quote from now onwards.

Life, Learning, Future.
Three weeks of Gerak Gempur and Second Trial are waiting me. But I am aiming for SPM and my future. I put my sight further than just a few months or years. I ain't that short-sighted.
Gerak Gempur was just crap, or rather exercises for us to prepare for SPM. It wasn't that formal and difficult. I finished it and then went on with my own business. After the trial, school life really bored me as teachers finished the supposed syllabus. Now it's down to intense exercises and the so-called Gerak Gempur and Second Trial to further improve our performance. Will the aim be achieved? Wait and see. I just want to learn new things from this point on. I feel like finishing SPM in near time and move on afterwards.
Life, we gotta move on. We can't stop at this point and say 'now I'm studying for SPM only.' Then, you got your study purpose wrongly set. It should be for the knowledge and our future, more than just SPM. Out of the syllabus stuffs are useful too. You can't say people not smart enough when they didn't score excellent grades in school exam papers or SPM. Maybe people has their own unique talents that can't be valued by merely a school exam. Learning is a life-long process. It doesn't stop here or there. It survives through centuries since creation. The only problem is that its meaning is kinda distorted nowadays. I can see students learning for the sake of high grades and rankings. In my opinion, we should learn for the sake of learning and self-improvements. Sad it is.
Recently, during some conversations among friends, the topic of our future after SPM circles endlessly. Some of them are so wealthy that they can go on to further studies without the worries of money. For some of us, money is a big problem. We are fighting for scholarships, just for that golden opportunity to get better education for a brighter future. We talked about each other ambitions and the pros and cons. It was nice to have a talk like that.
Friends, we have to move on and go our separate ways after this year, probably yes. We should fight for our dreams and ambitions. Nobody can stop you. Believe and thrive.
Nice line from one of my favourite physicist,
It is a miracle that curiosity survives formal education.
