Experiments are just nice, nicer when you did it with a bunch of friends.
Our Chemistry teacher instructed us to conduct an experiment to produce soap. By following the apparatus and material list, we picked and took the required items. Ah, there they were. I like Chemistry very much, after Physics. I just like to mix this and that, then BOOM - another 'that' came out. How miraculous. I'm always fascinated by the work of science and its application. To be honest, I'm tired of theories taught without any practical work. That will be just like reading a book about flying an airplane without actually flying one. I like practical work or experiments very much as they are quite rare in my school. Teachers just don't let us do that much. So I was excited whenever there will be one.
I enjoyed every part of the experiment, including the chat with my friends to pass the waiting time. It was total fun. I enjoyed stirring, mixing the solutions, heating, cooling, filtration, crystallization, etc. Time flies, an hour of Chemistry just passed when the bell rang. Oh my, but I ain't going to recess until I made my soap, from olive oil and palm oil. We made soaps from both oils. Great. At last, we finished it. It smelled, soap-like. The touch was soap-like too. Okay, it was soap. Haa. Nice.
I took part in a Physics quiz too. Don't think I did great. Hope for the best!
More experiments, please!

Inter-School English Quiz
I'm back. It had been a lot for this week. There was a Inter-School English Quiz and my essays. Haa.
Yesterday, I headed straight to Olympia College after my quick dinner near there. Haa. I was the first to arrived for my team, the others caught up minutes after. Inside were other teams with their respective teachers. Mr. Seow was our teacher. It was fun. We registered and had an unexpected short chat with the Rotary Club President. I signed my name and received a bag of stuffs - brochures, notebooks, a pack of tablets. Then, we headed upstairs. The auditorium, we sat there to listen to some speeches and a video. The draw - Room 1, Group 3. Out we went. Haa.
The room was not spacious with so many students, teachers and Rtn in it. We took our seats and started. Those questions were asked on various fields such as politics, science, English, sports etc. We grabbed 4 marks only. Not much. Anderson won in our room with 9 marks. After that, we went out for some refreshments - Doughnuts and coffee. Later, we went back into the auditorium and had a open-to-audience-quiz session. Haa. I was at total blank. What? Haa. Laughters. It's time. We didn't make it to the last four. However, I just took my participation certificate. I'm contented for the experience and joy I gained from this activity. Okay. Gotta go.
Surprised by his reaction. xD
